About the Project
About the Project
Our work proposal aims to provide meaningful learning, where students get hands-on experience, participate in practical activities, and face challenges that promote greater content assimilation. Get ready to experience dynamic and engaging education that goes beyond the traditional, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, while also valuing the preservation of Portuguese culture and language as a legacy for future generations.
Methodology
Methodology
In our classes, the teacher acts as a guide and facilitator, promoting activities and projects that actively involve the students. In this environment, children and teenagers are encouraged to investigate, create, lead, and present their discoveries and creations. The adopted pedagogical approach values active student participation, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and autonomy, resulting in an enriching and meaningful educational experience.

Programs
Our program is carefully divided to cater to different age groups and educational needs. We offer a program for children, covering from early childhood education up to 5th grade, and a program for teenagers, from 6th to 12th grade. Additionally, we have the PSL (Portuguese as a Second Language) program for those who wish to improve their language skills. The activities take place in person at two locations in the north of Austin, Texas, on different days and times to better accommodate each participant's routine and location. We also offer online classes for those who prefer to participate remotely. Join us and provide an educational experience.

About the Cultural Center
About us
The Cultural Center is a space dedicated to promoting and celebrating the rich Brazilian culture in Austin and the surrounding area. Our headquarters house the Brazil Project, the Bilingual Minds school, and a library filled with valuable resources. Our main goal is to promote Brazilian culture through various forms of artistic expression, such as art, music, writing, and social events. Additionally, we are a reference point for Brazilian families living in Austin, offering support for integration into the community and inclusion in American culture, while maintaining ties with Brazilian traditions and providing a welcoming environment. At the Cultural Center, we believe that culture is a powerful link that unites people and communities. That's why we work tirelessly to create a space where everyone can feel welcomed and connected, celebrating the diversity and richness of Brazilian culture.
Library
Library
The Cultural Center Library has a diverse collection of over 3,000 books, comics, and games, carefully selected to cater to all tastes and ages. Soon, we will be making our collection available for lending to the Brazilian community in Austin, providing easy and free access to a wide range of cultural and educational resources. Our collection has been continuously enriched thanks to the generous donations from the local community and collaborators in Brazil. This year, we are pleased to announce that we received a significant contribution from the company Infomach, which will allow us to renew our furniture and create an even more welcoming and functional space for reading and studying in the second half of the year. We are excited about these improvements and look forward to offering a modern and comfortable environment where everyone can enjoy reading and learning. Our library is a true cultural treasure, and we are committed to making it a vibrant and inclusive gathering place for the Brazilian community in Austin.
