🎶 Losing My Head for Brazilian Music. An Evening with Susanna Sharpe and Band
Susanna Sharpe’s passion for Brazilian music began during college in Connecticut and truly ignited when she heard Chico Buarque de Holanda Volume 2. That transformative moment led her to study Portuguese at UT Austin and dive deep into Brazil’s rich musical culture.
🎤 Over the years, Susanna performed with the UT Brazilian Ensemble, sang with the band Quizumba, and founded her own group, Susanna Sharpe and Samba Police, which made its mark on Austin’s music scene for more than a decade.
🌟 On this special night, she celebrates her musical journey with a vibrant set list and an outstanding band — an expressive tribute to the rhythms and passions that continue to inspire her love for Brazilian music.
